We’re doing everything we can to keep our guests and our teams safe.
It goes without saying that COVID-19 has led to a unique and rapidly evolving situation, but as a restaurant business serving fresh, quality food, hygiene has always been and always will be our top priority.
Maintaining the highest handwashing and personal hygiene standards is an essential part of the way we run our nearly 1000 restaurants.
The current situation is fairly unprecedented – we know that our guests are taking extra precautions and so are we.
Here’s just a few things we’re doing:
- We’re looking after our people, and supporting our team members to keep them and their families healthy. This includes reinforcing our stringent handwashing procedures, but also ensuring they receive Statutory Sick Pay if they’re feeling unwell and wish to self-isolate. If they don’t quality for SSP due to their hours, we’ll pay them the equivalent and we’re encouraging our franchise partners to do the same.
- We’re looking after our guests by increasing the regularity with which we sanitise the seating areas of our restaurants, plus other key areas like front counters, pin pads and touch screen ordering kiosks. We’re also ensuring we’re ready to serve guests who may want to change the way they order. either through our home delivery or drive thru services. Plus, we’re working with our delivery partners to make sure we’re providing safe, contactless delivery too.
- We are working closely with any partners to ensure safety through out the delivery and service chain is maintained.
- We’re closely consulting and carefully following guidance from Public Health England for the best ways to keep our teams and our guests safe.
